Benet Leong is a 26 years old brat who is currently in the Land of the Rising Sun. Loves spicy food and is currently deprived of chili. In his free time he likes to stare blankly at the computer screen and listen to whatever the radio is playing. A person where leaving things till the last minute is an everyday routine.

So great that now I'm still down with sore throat and the cough and flu bug is making its debut. lol... guess, that's what I get for going on a chili frenzy. will be looking forward for your next trip. till then, take care and be well Darn…I’m wide awake now.
More info about the earthquake here. Seems to have some pretty serious shocks in certain parts… hope everything is fine there. Also, there seems like there’s a couple of aftershocks as well… How to sleep like that?

What a busy, hectic and tiring weekend it was… first of all - I had a HUGE ulcer that was plaguing my lips for the entire weekend. It is at least 0.5cm long and it’s right at the tip of my bottom lips where EVERYTHING that I eat will touch it… super duper annoying. After days of applying salt , Oral Aid and tons of water - it finally subsided and on it’s way to a full recovery. *whew*
Then, my brother and sister-in-law was in Tokyo for the weekend. It was really great to meet up with them since I didn’t have the change to go back to KL yet (another long story…) so it was definitely nice to catch up with them. We spent the entire weekend going to Asakusa, visiting the Tokyo Tower, the Tokyo Imperial Palace (where I lost sight of the garden again… hmmph), shopping and more walking in Shibuya and Shinjuku, and browsing more than 300+ flavours of ice-cream in the Ice-Cream City located in NamjaTown.
It was definitely a tiring weekend but enjoyable nonetheless…. now, I gotta get back to catching up on the stuffs that I’m lagging behind (work) before the long Golden Week holiday arrives.
After visiting to the Imperial Palace on Saturday last week, on Sunday I went to 2 temples - the Homonji Temple as well as the Kuhombutsu Temple to see some cherry blossoms. Last year I was at Ueno Park where it was packed like mad with people and all so this year I wanted to visit a place where it’s more peaceful and less packed. The weather was pretty cloudy as well on Sunday and it even drizzled a bit in the afternoon … which made the weather really cold that day!
Nevertheless, I still manage to visit both places and take a couple of shots and enjoy the scenery and serenity of the surroundings.
Well, here’s some of the photos that I manage to take that day.
Hi guys… finally able to sort through some of the photos I’ve taken during my little visit to the Tokyo Imperial Palace Park. Seems like most of the pics were kinda dark and dull due to the slightly cloudy weather but I guess I manage to salvage a few pictures. hahaha…

Hmmm … haven’t got around organizing the photos which I took over the weekend when I went to the Imperial Palace as well as to see some cherry blossoms; but I did manage to select a few out and tinker around with it with Adobe Photoshop… since my pictures aren’t that great - I was “hoping” that the effects will be able to enhance it a ‘lil… haha… (how naive~~)
Anyway, these are some of the pics after an amateurish attempt on a lomo-effect. Enjoy!
